A Weekend in Washington D.C

I can’t say I ever had a desire to visit our nation’s capital. I never wanted to see the Lincoln memorial, or visit the library of congress. And with the post January 6th world we live in, I most certainly had no admiration for the Whitehouse or the capital building.

Still, we found ourselves on our way to Fairfax for a wedding, so we thought, why not spend a few days after in D.C? There’s bound to be more to it than what we see in movies right?

And I was right. There was so much more than the typical touristy things! What I discovered in Washington DC was an admiration for the architecture, and a new found love for infused Gin.
